Take Part

 Sunday morning 11 am

Anyone wishing to participate in this session should turn up at 10:45 where the crews will be formed. Crews will then boat at around 11am. Each session will be different from the last, some will be short bursts or work, others longer pieces. To a certain degree river conditions may determine what we do, else one of the captains will!

Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 pm

Where possible make sure you have arranged for a cox and if necessary a coach.

During the summer season it may be necessary to limit outings so everyone can make use of the boats.

Meals are often served after training but this depends on volunteers. A Food Rota is displayed on the Clubhouse notice board and if you could spare a few minutes to knock up something simple and add your name to the board, it would be greatly appreciated by all.

New Members and Coaching – Sunday 10 am

New Members are always welcome to come and give it a go.  Come into the club at any time to find out more ( Sunday around midday is a good time to look around) or come down to the river for 10 on a Sunday morning.

If you are a new or potentially new member, please first contact  captain@tvsc.co.uk  to arrange an outing and coaching.

Or register for our formal Learn to Row Course

Other times

Please confirm with Captains before making arrangements for outings at other times.

In winter crews must have an experienced coxwain and must display the correct lighting front and back.

Please check the river conditions and if it is deemed too dangerous, boating will be cancelled.

Please read and become familiar with the river safety notes on  River and Weather
